Overview

FetchPosts is a local macOS application that helps you export your LinkedIn post history and analytics. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Data Collection and Processing

What We Do

• Local Processing: FetchPosts runs entirely on your Mac. All data extraction and processing happens locally on your computer.
• Your Browser Session: The app uses your existing logged-in LinkedIn session in your browser. We do not store or transmit your credentials.
• No Content Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your LinkedIn content or analytics to our servers.
• License Validation: When you purchase FetchPosts, we only collect your email address for license delivery and support purposes.

What We Don't Do

• We do not ask for your LinkedIn password
• We do not store your session cookies on our servers
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing
• FetchPosts does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs

Payment Information

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Freemius. Freemius is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Freemius provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. We do not store your credit card information.

Data Storage

All exported data (CSV files, analytics, etc.) is stored locally on your Mac. You have full control over where these files are saved and how they are used. We recommend keeping your exported data secure and backing it up according to your own data management practices.

While we take reasonable care to design the application securely, you are responsible for securing your own device and exported files.

Third-Party Services

FetchPosts interacts with:

• LinkedIn: The app accesses LinkedIn using your own browser session. All interactions are governed by LinkedIn's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. FetchPosts is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially supported by LinkedIn Corporation.
• Your Browser: FetchPosts uses your browser's existing session. Your session cookies remain on your computer and are never sent to us.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store your personal data (beyond your email for license delivery), there is minimal data to manage. However, you have the right to:

• Request deletion of your email address from our records
• Request a copy of any data we have about you (typically just your license information)
• Unsubscribe from any marketing emails (if applicable)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data in accordance with GDPR.
